Very disappointed
I’ve owned two of these. Unfortunately, both stopped cutting after fewer than forty can-openings. Verrry disappointed. I Do Not Recommend.

I really love this compact, one-touch can opener! It’s so convenient to have a smaller, cordless opener that can easily be stored in a drawer instead of taking up counter space. It can be a little tricky to line up on the can at first, but once you get it in place, all you have to do is press the button — then you can literally walk away while it does the work for you.The built-in magnet is a great feature, as it lifts the lid right off when the can is done opening, keeping things clean and easy. It also removes the lid smoothly without leaving any sharp edges, which is a huge plus for safety — no more accidental cuts when grabbing the lid.It does make a bit of noise while operating, but it’s not overly loud or distracting. Overall, this is a super convenient kitchen gadget that works well, saves time, and is easy to store.

Works okay but larger than my other one
I have another can opener of this type that I really like, so my review of this one will be in comparison to that. This opener works well for opening cans, just like my other one, but it is bulkier by about 20 to 30 percent, taking up more space in a drawer.Before I acquired my first one, I had my doubts about this type of can opener, but I quickly learned to love it. Unlike traditional openers, this one cuts the lid differently—horizontally around and beneath the exterior lip, rather than vertically downward around the interior lip. This design means there are no sharp edges.However, in addition to the size issue, there are some downsides to this model. It isn’t ergonomic and has a cheap, smooth feel. Additionally, it requires four AA batteries (not included), whereas my other opener charges via USB. I had mistakenly assumed that “battery operated” meant it would be rechargeable.Overall, it’s not a bad opener if you’re okay with these downsides.
