This thing is awesome cuts different girths and lengths and sharp and folds and tucks away we use it a lot making potatoe wedges.

Finally, a mandolin I’m not afraid to use!
I have a genuine fear of traditional mandolins after cutting myself in the past, but this chopper has completely changed that. The design really helps alleviate those safety concerns. It is incredibly easy to use and processes a wide range of fruits and vegetables in just seconds. My favorite feature is how simple it is to adjust the slice thickness. I love this slicer. What I like most of all is the safety of not exposing my fingers and getting cut. I also like the wide opening to insert vegetables for slicing. Figuring out how to do certain types of chops and where to turn. All the dials is a little complicated. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

Wonderful Addition to Kitchen Accessories
Safety first for me! Ease of use and cleaning is second necessity. I have owned a wide variety of mandolines, and this one is the winner by far.I always consider it as a gift to others. So far, I have bought it for my 2 sisters, a friend and me. We are all senior citizens, with a variety of ailments such as arthritis and low hand strength. We are all in agreement that using the Jonscook has made our lives better because slicing and dicing is now a pleasant experience.The blade is very sharp, so I recommend to consider avoiding using if distracted or tired.The hopper, wider than most, and the wide range of cutting options with a quick flip of a knob are very nice features.Sometimes it sticks a little during cutting but a quick pop on the handle resolves the issue.Thank you Jonscook for making my life happier and healthier! Fresh veggies and fruits prepped in minutes!If mine wears out, I will definitely be replacing it with the same or upgraded model.

The potato or vegetable you are trying to slice and dice gets stuck in th grooves and causes the moving parts to get stuck, will need cleaning and removing stuck material before proceeding furthur.

Also sehr gute Hilfe mit sehr guter deutscher Anleitung. Möchte das Ding nicht mehr missen. Leider ist die Auffangschale zu klein und passt nicht bis zum Hobel, so das eine Menge gehobeltes daneben geht. Bei sehr klein geschnittendes wie Gurke ergibt das eine Sauerei. Wurde das vorher nie geteste? Stelle jetzt die Hobeleinheit in eine Auflauf- Form.
