Mixed quality materials
This lazy susan holds a lot and spins evenly with quite a bit of weight on it. The metal feels pretty durable and is painted with a rough finish that keeps things from sliding around inside. It has little rubbery feet that keep it from sliding around in the cupboard as well. It does make a little bit of noise when it spins because the spinning part is all cheap plastic, so if it fails at some point that will likely be the reason. I don’t really like that there is a silver metal button that sticks up in the middle where the tray is attached to the spinner (see photos). I suppose that’s the trade-off for having a metal tray instead of a wood one. They have to attach it somehow, but it seems like it could have been painted black and countersunk to maintain the smooth surface.
