Slices Well, Sharp Blades
This is great for onions, potatoes. carrots, and other veggies and hard fruits like apples. Not good for grating cheese, even hard cheese. But it wasn’t really designed for that, I just wanted to try. I love it for onions, it helps with the strong onion smell when I cook. Had blades for shredding carrots and potatoes which work great. Not so good is the size of the holder, it is a bit small and doesn’t work for large onions or potatoes, I have to cut them down. I had a similar cutter that had sides instead of this cup like thing and it worked better. Still for the price and the versatility this is a good slicer that save times and onion tears.

This mandolin slicer has been very helpful for food prep. I used it for vegetables like cucumbers and potatoes and the slices came out even and consistent. The blades are sharp and the container keeps everything neat while slicing. It is easy to clean and does not take up much storage space. Overall a solid kitchen tool that saves time.
