These are just the outdoor LED light strips I weas looing for!
These are just the outdoor LED light strips I weas looing for! Some of the very cool features that you won’t find in regular LED strips:1) The offer a solid and continuous light across the entire strip. Not individual LED’s. (more like a rope). This provides smooth and continuous lighting. We mounted under our eves, back about 3 inches from the front2) You can trim them!! Every 2.8″ there is a trim mark and it does not affect functionality3) You can set any temperature of white light you want, from 5k on down to a sunset white4) You can set ANY color and very cool sequences.5) You can choose from many included sequences or make your own.6) They are WIFI! You can control them from anywhere!7) You can easily put multiple strands in the same group! And control them at the same time.8) They appear to be very high quality!!10) You use clips to mount them. Screws are small, so if you are somewhere you might drop one and not find it, buy more!. No adhesive, but you could add some between clips, but it does not seem necessary.9) Great value for the money!** pick “ rope light “ when setting them up from the appand not LED strip.I’ve tried a number of other options and these are by far the best! We’ll use for Christmas and leave them up for cool lighting affect through the year

Well worth the money & easy setup
I bought the outdoor set for my patio. These are very high quality and were super easy to set up. I used zip ties to attach them to the railing. I can now have lights for every holiday or event without having to physically change the lights. I just go into the app and the color(s) I want. I setup a routine in the app to turn them on at sunset. I liked them so much I bought another set.

They Had A Bright Idea
I’ve only had these for a few days, but I’m really rather impressed! I wanted RGBIC lights for my deck railing. The permanent lights people use on their house eaves don’t work on railings. After extensive searches, I found these. I didn’t care for the look of strip lights that have a little dot of light every few inches, and these DO NOT do that. These are a continuous glow of light. No, you can’t change EVERY light to be the color you want, but you can customize it in sections. You can also turn off sections if you choose. (Unless you’re using a preset light show, I can’t find a way to turn off sections for that) The preset light shows are plentiful and nice options. They also gave a great template and idea for my making custom light shows. I am finding the app a little difficult to navigate. I didn’t like having to give an email address and make a password just for lighting. That, in my book, is a little too invasive for lighting, but I chose to press ahead and use them anyway. I’m not fond of how to choose the colors. Choosing a color is far simpler than many other lighting apps, but I feel like the ability to actually get the color you want is more difficult. For instance, I can’t get a TRUE red easily at all. In their presets, I can see there’s a bright red, but when I try to customize something with red, it’s not looking as bright. I also find the app a little buggy, but maybe it’s still my inability to navigate it well. Sometimes I’m unable to choose the light show I want for a specific strand. I have to close the app, start again and then it seems to work. I do like how multiple strands can be connected in the app to turn on or off or play the same function together. This gave me the ability to have 3 sections of lights on the deck and have them work together. With some time, I’ll probably adapt to these and get a little better with the app. If not, they have given a phone number I can call for customer service and help. Installation was fairly simply since this is VERY flexible. However, there is not adhesive on these as one would presume it would have. I actually just used plant twist ties to mount them. This was my non-permanent solution so I didn’t need to drill anything into my brand new deck railings. The plant ties are soft so they don’t hurt anything and since these are lightweight, they didn’t require many. They aren’t particularly noticeable and the twist can be tucked where you don’t really see it.Overall, yes, I did some complaining about these, but I DO like them quite a bit and I would recommend them for deck railings or other places you want a continuous glowing light strand. They remind me of something you used to only see in a high end storefront. They are a tad on the pricey side in comparison to other highly customizable lighting, but there isn’t much else out there like them. They seem like a good product so far and I’m excited to use them for different seasons.

Amazing.
Got the Amazon refurbished one and these were as good as brand new. Came with all the screws and accessories needed to install. The only thing missing was the factory seal, otherwise in perfect condition. The installation was simple. It took me longer to put the strip in my desired location and in shape than setting up the smart feature. This is my first Cync light strip, but I have been using other Cync products for a few years and the integration to Amazon Echo system is flawless. Have been using them for about a week now, and so far no complaints. The brightness and the color options are superb. Will be a good party trick this holiday season for me. As for the length, the 32 feet is for the LED strip, not including the power cords, which was a plus in my books, since some other cheaper brands factor in the power cords in to the total length.

Don’t expect immediate installation:
Color options are expansive.Brightness is perfect for every situation.Connectivity is 10/10.So why the one star review?Because the installation is absolute crap; supposed double sided sticky tape isn’t actually a thing – tried to get the pieces separated for about 15 minutes before I gave up entirely. “What about the “hooks they include!?” Laughable. Absolutely laughable. They are TRASH. Literal trash. You have to hammer in all of the hooks at the same time or they just pop out of the wall as you try to hang more of the strip up.Which brings me to functionality, also trash because now these are a hazard to have anywhere as I have an almost one year old.Save your time and patience for another brand that puts as much effort into the product, as the hooks or adhesive that HANG the product.

Flexible led lighted rope
Light rope met all of my liking. Works very well and is flexible for turns and bends.
