3-dimensional flame looks great from any angle
I LOVE these candles!! The “flame” is 3-dimensional, so no matter which direction you view them, it looks like a flickering flame – just like a real flame would look from any angle. These give off a night light and look wonderful around my living room in the evening. It an added bonus that you can turn them on and off with the remote, or you can program them to come on and go off at the same time every day. Will definitely get more. Oh wait… I DID get more! And will likely order a fourth set, these candles are that wonderful!

Love these! They look really classy (can’t tell they are acrylic) and the flickering candle mode makes it look like real candles. The two remote controls are awesome and make it so easy to turn off/on, even when they are all around the house. 5 stars!

Exactly what she wanted
Saw these in my wife’s cart and had heard her hinting around to them. I figured they would look cheap and fake, but they actually look really good. The lighting is soft and not overbearing. Which is what I assume their function to be, decorative and not a significant light source. They add a great ambiance to some macabre art pieces we have on the mantle. And without getting too hot, they can stay on long term. A great addition for the price.

Surprisingly nice LED candles!
I didn’t think I’d like these candles nearly as much as I did. I bought a BUNCH of these packs for my partner who was having an art show and wanted to set the mood around the gallery space. This was supposed to be a quick last minute cheap addition, but after the opening, we brought them home and set them up around our living room. It feels really romantic for these to kick on each day and they really warm up the space. I can’t speak for all the other colors, but while these candles aren’t going to trick anyone into thinking they’re real on close inspection, the red ones have the right flicker and pulse that they feel “real enough” if you just want to set ambiance and won’t study them closely. The red colored candles reminded both of us of Catholic church and though neither of us are religious, we can get into the sense of mystique these “candles” imbue without having to deal with constantly swapping out tea lights and feeling badly about discarding the outer foil of each candle after use. I liked these enough that I ended up ordering more for my personal work space. The light is not so bright that it will light up a room. These are essentially on par with real candles…maaaaybe a touch dimmer. They’re for mood only or perhaps a night light, but won’t really help you see much of anything.Unlike other LED candle brands we’ve tried, these candles run off of one single AA battery. We’ve had others that use 2 AAs and don’t last nearly as long. I can’t say exactly how long the batteries last, but I know disposables lasted way longer than I thought they should have. Rechargeables need to be changed a little more often but there’s less waste and, in the long run, lower cost. If you get these for every day use, I’d recommend investing in some rechargeable AA Lithium Ion batteries (not Ni-Cad) and a charger. I’m thrifty and somewhat ecologically conscious, so using rechargeables helps save money and makes me feel less guilt. If you buy a bunch of them, you keep them rotating so you can swap them out immediately while you charge up the spent ones.The included remote is a nice feature. It’s easy to have a room full of these and turn them on and off en masse. You can also set them on a timer so they kick on at the same time every day and turn themselves off after 2/4/6/or 8 hours. We have ours turn on right as it’s getting dark, and “burn” until we’re about ready to go to bed.The only slightly annoying thing about these is that when a battery dies you need to reset the timer. That’s to be expected with candles this affordable. There is no secondary internal battery that keeps a clock going, so if the battery dies and/or you replace it, you’ll need to reset the timer as well or it will just stay on until you manually turn it off again. This can be inconvenient since it’s more common that the battery will die sometime in the middle of the timer for the rest of the candles, but you just manually turn it off when the others go out, and then reset the candles the next day when you want them to turn on. It’s super easy with the remote.

Look like real glass and are white. However when you light them at night they turn yellow. So started the return process. If a yellow glow doesn’t bother you than they are very pretty.
