Elegant glasses
These glasses have a subtle sophistication and elegance to them. They’re very lightweight, hold a lot of liquid, and feel comfortable in your hand. We have made multiple purchases of these for our kitchen. While they are durable, note that they can scratch if you rub them too closely to other items in the dishwasher, I learned this the hard way.

Perfect size, great style and break resistant
Our first experience with Schott Zwiesel’s Tritan collection was the Pure Cabernet wine glasses. While break resistant don’t go crazy with them. However from a price/quality standpoint they were great, so we tried out their long drink glasses as well as these “whiskey” glasses. While these would be great for an old fashioned or the occasional two fingers of scotch or bourbon, these are actually being used as everyday juice glasses and the occasional short drink.They stand up to both hand washing and the dishwasher well. They are a bit thicker and sturdier than the wine glasses in the Pure collection, a concern at first. We purchased two as an experiment and were so pleased we bought an additional 6-piece set. Great glasses. Very high style and quality for the price.

Worth the money
I read all the compliments and complaints. I was hesitant to order, but love the idea of a generous size glass without a tall stem. At first, I didn’t think the narrow opening was a good thing, but I never noticed it while drinking from these glasses. Although the rim isn’t thick like Libby or cheaper brands, it’s the right thickness. I usually drink from Ridel and other similar quality brands. These glasses look and feel delicate and expensive. I’m hoping that when I talk with my hands, I won’t knock this glass over, or feel the need to go stemless again.

Classic Elegant Great for Everyday Use
I’ve had my eye on these glasses for awhile – but the price at other stores was too expensive. I found on Amazon for the lowest. They are amazing quality but also perfect for entertaining since they look classy, but easy enough to clean in the dishwasher for everyday use. I’m a wine lover and I need to drink out of a nice glass always haha so these are a staple now!

Beautiful Cognac/Brandy Snifters, But Too Large
I love Schott Zwiesel glasses in general, so when I wanted new, more elegant brandy snifters, I turned to these. My husband and I debated prior to purchase whether these were the right size. Even though you might pour only a couple of ounces in one of these, you need lots of room for the bouquet to fill the snifter, but a nearly 21 ounce size seemed enormous — and they are. For me, a woman with small hands, these are too large because they don’t quite fit comfortably in my hand. My husband, however, finds them perfect. We decided to keep them because 1. too large is better than too small and 2. they are gorgeous. The semi-sharp angle between the bottom of the glass, where the cognac rests, and the top is a bit unusual for such a glass, but we like that distinctive touch.We don’t wash our fine glassware in the dishwasher, so I cannot comment on how well they do in that harsh environment. Our other Schott Zwiesel glasses look brand new despite years of handwashing. While the thin crystal is tougher than you’d think, they are breakable nonetheless. After all, you are buying them for their clear, thin crystal. A chunkier glass snifter would be tougher, but it wouldn’t be as elegant.– Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Einen guten Whisky oder auch einen edlen Rum aus diesen Gläsern zu genießen, macht wirklich Spaß.Die Dancing Tumbler erschienen mir eigentlich zuerst wie ein Partygag. Durch die kugelige Bodenform tanzt das Glas nach einer Drehung oder Berührung munter auf dem Tisch umher und im Farbenspiel mit dem Inhalt gibt das immer wieder tolle Effekte.Aber die Gläser sind auch absolut alltagstauglich, so dass ich Rum und Whisky inzwischen hauptsächlich aus den Schott Zwiesel Dancing Tumblern genieße. Sie liegen toll in der Hand und man kann beim Schwenken des Whiskys fast schon meditativ werden (siehe Video).Auch Freunde sind immer wieder begeistert und bestaunen die tanzenden Gläser.Zur Haltbarkeit muss man sagen, dass die Gläser sehr dünn sind, was ich wirklich schätze, denn es gibt eine tolle Haptik. Aber natürlich geht auch manchmal eines zu Bruch, beim spülen zum Beispiel. Hab deshalb auch schon das dritte Paket bestellt. Ansonsten sehen die Gläser auch nach Jahren noch aus wie am ersten Tag!Ich kann die Dancing Tumbler von Schott uneingeschränkt empfehlen!Wenn dir diese Rezension gefallen hat, freue ich mich über ein Like. 🙂

I’ve had these for a couple of years now and still haven’t broken a single one! Surprisingly thin and classy but strong and dishwasher safe. I like the narrow mouth vs wider base as it makes it harder to spill – these hold a good amount and I use them as my everyday glasses. The only downside is that I have to be careful how I place them in the dishwasher as they can get undissolved soap powder stuck in them if they’re blocked at all.
