Sturdy & good looking
Very happy with this dish set. Far superior to the Wllms Zonomah plates for which I paid twice as much (or more?; Wllms Zonomah dinner plates all break with even the most careful thermal management, even ordered 2nd set in case of defective–no, just garbage).THESE dinner plates are a good size, no huge pointless rim so they fit well into cabinets sideways and oh yeah INTO THE DISHWASHER…ahem. [recomposes self…]Punishing treatment of everyday life has only left a few knife marks, to be expected. No need to baby ’em. Not perfect, a tiny smattering of glazing marks, but I will take that any day over 7 broken dinner plates.

Love love love!! They are beautiful! I love the unique design of each. I’m glad they are not carbon copies of each other. I love how they are dull on the outside and shiny inside. I love how this set comes with both cereal bowls and pasta bowls NOT just one or the other. I love the neutral tones of the set itself. I hope my clumsiness does not break these dishes, but if it does I’ll just buy more!! Also to note! It came packed so snug and secure that it survived moving it in the box to two different addresses. Great value in all levels!!

This set did not disappoint from the color to the quality. One plate did come broken the first time, but customer service was very helpful and sent us a full set replacement for free which was definitely a plus! They are dishwasher and microwave safe. I like the size of all the plates/bowls.

I really love the style of this Gibson Elite Beckett stoneware set. The flatware and bowls have a great weight to them, and I completely fell in love with the dark gray/black gradient finish on the plates from my first order—it looked amazing and exactly what I wanted. Microwave and Dishwasher safe, I purchased them when the prices dropped and definitely worth the price. So far haven’t chipped, durable. Unfortunately, I can’t give it a full 5 stars because when I ordered the set a second and third time, the glaze came in looking more glossy instead of the matte finish I originally received. Still a beautiful and stylish set overall, but the inconsistency in the glaze was a bit disappointing.

Beautiful and aesthetic but not worth the price tag
These are really beautiful bowls. I bought them initially because I love the look of pottery and wanted plates with more of an edge to keep my rice dishes on the plate. They hold up well in the dishwasher and I really do love the size of the large dinner plates. My beef with this set is that they chip VERY easily. I tapped one of the bowls against the faucet while I was rinsing it out and it already chipped. You have to be really careful when stacking these in your cupboard because the uneven edges could easily catch on the natural grooves of the dish below it.Unlike some others have mentioned, I haven’t had many issues with the unglazed bottom. The pottery has spots of moisture when I take them out of the dishwasher but they don’t seem to create any condensation inside of the dishes when I put them away. For how much I paid for this set, I feel like I could have bought a nicer quality handmade set from CB2 or West Elm for maybe $20 more. I mean it’s a nice dinner set and it feels like I’m one step closer to being a Real Adult™️, but I can see myself having to replace this in a year or two.

We got 2 sets and use them daily. After a year, all are intact except for one small chip in one bowl. leider ist das Geschirrset scheinbar nur zur Deko gedacht. Bereits nach dem ersten Verwenden sieht man jeden einzelnen Messerschnitt. Auf dem Geschirr entstehen sogar schwarze Striche wenn man mit einem Löffel isst.

Other reviews note these plates show scratches, and they do but not enough to damage in any way. Look far better than the photos. A bit different to usual crockery. Big bowls are perfect size forr generous portions, we use them for everything. Small bowls really just for nibbles or maybe young children, but we use them the least. Really love them and will purchase another set soon. Recommend!

I bought two of these sets to give me eight place settings. They are as advertised. They are heavy, though, which I like. The pattern is beautiful and they fit in my dishwasher perfectly. The dinner plate is fully flat and has lip at the edge – keeps gravies on the plate without pooling in the middle like other plate designs do. There are two bowl sizes that work well for a small side salad and another for a big bowl of ice cream!When I received the sets, there was one dinner plate that had a chip in it. Return was handled perfectly and was very easy to do – no hassle at all… a company with honour!For the quality, the price is VERY reasonable. I recommend this product and vendor without reservation.
